our story

Right On! Records in Herndon, Virginia was founded by Garin Pappas in 2016. After working at the Fairfax Record & Tape Exchange in Fairfax, Virginia, Garin was inspired to start his own vintage vinyl store. Garin has a love for many genres and is a fastidious collector and curator. He cleans and hand inspects every record that enters the shop. Our shop has the youngest owner with the oldest records in the DMV!

If you’re a lover of first press vintage vinyl, rare private presses, unusual oddities, and local music history, Right On! Records is the store for you. Our shop is conveniently close to Dulles Airport; we love meeting new people from out-of-town as well as DC-area locals. We are proud to have been a part of the Herndon community for a decade.
