our story

Right On! Records in Herndon, Virginia was founded by Garin Pappas in 2016. After working at the Fairfax Record & Tape Exchange in Fairfax, Virginia, Garin was inspired to start his own vintage vinyl store. Garin has a love for many genres and is a fastidious collector and curator. He cleans and hand inspects every record that enters the shop. Our shop has the youngest owner with the oldest records in the DMV!

If you’re a lover of first press vinyl, rare private presses, unusual oddities, and local music history, Right On! Records is the store for you. Our shop is conveniently close to Dulles Airport; we love meeting new people from out-of-town as well as DC-area locals. We are proud to have been a part of the Herndon community for a decade.
